HappyFox was created by the India-based TenMiles Corporation. The application was intended to provide a convenient customer service solution to users. So far, HappyFox has not received much media attention and customers have said little about the application. That doesn’t mean it has nothing to offer. HappyFox is still rather young and has a lot of potential to grow into something that many businesses and teams will find attractive.
HappyFox offers a service that is much like many other customer support services. The main draw is the clean, modern user interface and customization options. The user can set up automated responses, notifications and unique ticket submission forms that are customized to their specific needs. The application is also full of personality, with fun comments scattered throughout. Despite the lighthearted nature of the content, the application still retains a very clean, professional style.
Many users can appreciate the user interface offered with HappyFox. Hints of vibrant color are used throughout-but sparingly. The interface is very modern, with buttons, icons and text rather than bland lists and forms. Anyone can easily navigate through tickets, contacts or reports using tabs that run across the top of the page. HappyFox offers users a vibrant design and user friendly layout that makes the experience positive, highlighted by an upbeat personality.
A new user can register for a HappyFox account by clicking the black “Sign Up” link prominently displayed in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. The registration form appears on the following page and asks for a full name, email address, company name, desired membership plan and terms of service agreement. After completing and submitting the form, the user is advised that they must check their email for a confirmation message. This must be accessed before the user can login.
HappyFox offers one free and three paid membership options. The free plan includes access for two help desk staff and two categories. The Starter plan costs $39 per month and upgrades to three help desk staff members and three categories. The Basic plan costs $99 per month and includes access for five staff members and five categories. The Plus plan is the largest, costing $199 per month and including access for up to 10 staff members and 10 categories. Each paid membership includes a 30 day free trial for new users.
HappyFox is ideal for small to medium size teams and businesses that need an efficient way to manage customer support issues. The application includes a number of features as well as many subscription options that start at free. Even a small startup business can easily fit the service into its budget. Subscriptions get a little pricier for those who need over three staff members, but it still offers a good value to the user.
